As a Top 150 Roofing Contractor, we’re growing fast and seeking a *Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager* to take the lead in managing and executing large-scale roofing projects.
*Position Summary:*
This role is designed for an experienced leader who can manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects—from planning and procurement to closeout. You’ll work closely with our in-house controller, field teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure every project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Project Planning & Execution*
* Lead all phases of commercial roofing projects from inception to completion
* Develop project schedules, budgets, and work scopes
* Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met
*Team & Field Leadership*
* Supervise, support, and motivate field crews and subcontractors
* Foster a collaborative and productive job site environment
* Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality and safety compliance
*Budget Management*
* Track and manage project costs to ensure financial targets are met
* Work alongside our in-house Controller on: Pay applications, Job forecasting, Schedule of values, Completion and tracking of lien waivers
*Material Procurement & Logistics*
* Coordinate ordering, delivery, and storage of materials
* Oversee fabrication and ensure materials are ready when needed
*Technical Oversight & Construction Knowledge*
* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Ensure proper installation of commercial roofing systems and components
* Experience with drywall, masonry, trim carpentry, and general construction is a plus but not necessary
*Quality Assurance & Safety*
* Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
* Ensure compliance with all OSHA and safety regulations
* Manage and oversee heavy lifting operations on job sites as required
*Stakeholder Communication*
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
* Provide clear updates on project progress, challenges, and key milestones
*Change & Risk Management*
* Manage change orders and scope adjustments as needed
* Identify and resolve issues before they impact project success
*What You Bring:*
* Proven experience as a *Project Manager* in *commercial roofing or construction (MUST)*
* Deep understanding of roofing systems, installation techniques, and construction processes
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing construction estimating
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills
* Physical capability to conduct job site inspections and, when needed, assist in lifting operations
* Relevant certifications (OSHA, PMP, or Construction Management) a plus
