Salary: $215,500 - $245,000 OTE

PositionOverview:
As part of our exciting growth, Axonius Federal Systems is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer (Federal Civilian) to join the team! Our ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools within federal customer environments and lead both remote and in-person demos. In this unique opportunity, you'll play a critical role in helping our federal customers achieve their security goals. You'll build strong relationships with customers, understand their technical requirements, have a think-outside-the-box mindset, and work cross-functionally within the company to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Serveasthetechnicalleadthroughoutthepre - salescycle,includingowningproofs -of- value(POV)results,co - leadingcustomerrelationshipswithsalesexecutives,andgivingtechnicaldemonstrations.
- BecometheregionaltechnicalsubjectmatterexpertintheAxoniusplatformanditsintegrations,continuouslymaintainingthisexpertise,andusingittoprovidetechnicalpre - salessupportfortheassignedsalesteamfromdiscoverymeetingstodealclose.
- Assistsalesindevelopingandimplementingsalesobjectives,account - basedpenetrationstrategies,andaccount - basedsalesstrategiesthatwillhelptoclosedeals.
- Understandingofourproductsandtheirtechnicalcapabilities,aswellasasolidunderstandingofthecybersecuritylandscapeandthechallengesfacingourcustomers.
- Stayup-to- datewiththelatestindustrytrends,bestpractices,andtechnologiesrelatedtoassetmanagementandcybersecurity.
- Contributetotheexpansionofexistingaccountsandtheacquisitionofnewcustomerswithintheassignedterritory.

MinimumQualifications:
- 5+yearsofindustryexperienceinsalesengineeringorasasystemintegrator,withpracticalexperiencereviewinganddraftingresponsestoFederalrequestsforcomment,information,andproposals.
- TechnicalbackgroundininternetsecurityprinciplesandpracticalexperiencewithcybersecurityandinfrastructuretoolsusedbyFederalagencies.
- Strongknowledgeofnetworkingtopology,TCP/IPprotocols,networkconfigurationandcomponents(firewalls,routers,etc.),endpointsecuritytechnologies(AV,EDR,Next - genAV,etc.),cloudsecurityprinciples,andvulnerabilitymanagement.
- ExperienceoperatingbothLinuxandWindowssystemsLinuxexpertiseishelpful.
- PriorexperienceinsellingsoftwaretoFederalGovernmentAgencies,withknowledgeofFederalAcquisitionprocesses(RFC,RFI,RFP,etc.).
- AbilitytoseeandpresenttheBigPicture,uncoverbusinesschallenges,andarchitectasolutiontosolvecustomerbusinessissues,withastrongunderstandingofhowinternetprotocolswork(
- Experiencepresentingatmultiplelevels,fromC - SuitetoSolutionArchitects,withstrongtechnicalpresentationandcommunicationskills,bothverbalandwritten.
PreferredQualifications:
- ConceptualknowledgeofAPIsandreal - worldexperiencewithscriptinglanguagessuchasPython.
- CollaborativeexperienceasaFederalSystemIntegratorinaclient - facingtechnicalrole.
- PreferredexperienceworkingwithintheDHSContinuousDiagnosticsandMitigation(CDM)program.
