Salary: $215,500 - $245,000 OTE

PositionOverview:

As part of our exciting growth, Axonius Federal Systems is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer (Federal Civilian) to join the team! Our ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools within federal customer environments and lead both remote and in-person demos. In this unique opportunity, you'll play a critical role in helping our federal customers achieve their security goals. You'll build strong relationships with customers, understand their technical requirements, have a think-outside-the-box mindset, and work cross-functionally within the company to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Serveasthetechnicalleadthroughoutthepre - salescycle,includingowningproofs -of- value(POV)results,co - leadingcustomerrelationshipswithsalesexecutives,andgivingtechnicaldemonstrations.
• BecometheregionaltechnicalsubjectmatterexpertintheAxoniusplatformanditsintegrations,continuouslymaintainingthisexpertise,andusingittoprovidetechnicalpre - salessupportfortheassignedsalesteamfromdiscoverymeetingstodealclose.
• Assistsalesindevelopingandimplementingsalesobjectives,account - basedpenetrationstrategies,andaccount - basedsalesstrategiesthatwillhelptoclosedeals.
• Understandingofourproductsandtheirtechnicalcapabilities,aswellasasolidunderstandingofthecybersecuritylandscapeandthechallengesfacingourcustomers.
• Stayup-to- datewiththelatestindustrytrends,bestpractices,andtechnologiesrelatedtoassetmanagementandcybersecurity.
• Contributetotheexpansionofexistingaccountsandtheacquisitionofnewcustomerswithintheassignedterritory.

MinimumQualifications:

• 5+yearsofindustryexperienceinsalesengineeringorasasystemintegrator,withpracticalexperiencereviewinganddraftingresponsestoFederalrequestsforcomment,information,andproposals.
• TechnicalbackgroundininternetsecurityprinciplesandpracticalexperiencewithcybersecurityandinfrastructuretoolsusedbyFederalagencies.
• Strongknowledgeofnetworkingtopology,TCP/IPprotocols,networkconfigurationandcomponents(firewalls,routers,etc.),endpointsecuritytechnologies(AV,EDR,Next - genAV,etc.),cloudsecurityprinciples,andvulnerabilitymanagement.
• ExperienceoperatingbothLinuxandWindowssystemsLinuxexpertiseishelpful.
• PriorexperienceinsellingsoftwaretoFederalGovernmentAgencies,withknowledgeofFederalAcquisitionprocesses(RFC,RFI,RFP,etc.).
• AbilitytoseeandpresenttheBigPicture,uncoverbusinesschallenges,andarchitectasolutiontosolvecustomerbusinessissues,withastrongunderstandingofhowinternetprotocolswork(
• Experiencepresentingatmultiplelevels,fromC - SuitetoSolutionArchitects,withstrongtechnicalpresentationandcommunicationskills,bothverbalandwritten.

PreferredQualifications:

• ConceptualknowledgeofAPIsandreal - worldexperiencewithscriptinglanguagessuchasPython.
• CollaborativeexperienceasaFederalSystemIntegratorinaclient - facingtechnicalrole.
• PreferredexperienceworkingwithintheDHSContinuousDiagnosticsandMitigation(CDM)program.
• IdealcandidatewillresideinWashington,DC -highlypreferred
