Job Description:
•Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement multi-tiered web applications.
•Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on requirements.
•Collaborate with other developers and business users to provide comprehensive solutions.
•Maintain a repository for all in-house and third-party software/customizations and documentation.
•Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.
•Resolve software issues and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
•Ensure software issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
•Monitor outstanding service requests, patch applications, and associated testing.
•Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
•Mentor and guide junior developers.
Skills and Abilities:
•Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS platform.
•Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
•Strong understanding of server-side languages like Node.js and Python.
•Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and Oracle.
•Familiarity with version control systems, like Git.
•Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
•Knowledge of web security, best practices.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
•Ability to understand, analyze, and convert requirements into programs to provide business solutions.
•Good understanding of technical design documents.
•High analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Type of Experience:
•At least 6+ years of professional experience in web development.
•At least 2+ years of professional experience with Sitecore CMS platform.
•Proven track record of developing and deploying large-scale web applications.
•Experience with cloud services such as AWS is a big plus.
•Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
•Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•Experience with web services like SOAP and REST.
•Experience with databases like MySQL and Oracle.
•Any experience with eCommerce platforms, such as BigCommerce, is a big plus.
•Experience in creating technical design documents.
•Experience in production support.
