ULG Skilled Trades has an immediate need for experienced Sheet Metal Technicians in Eagle, CO.

Job Details:

• Pay: $20-$30.00/hr
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 40+
• Length: Temp to Perm

Qualifications & Requirements

• Measure, cut and bend various types of sheet metal into appropriate sizes and shapes
• Connect ducts and joints by welding, bolting, riveting or soldering
• Read and analyze blueprints and operate computerized fabricating equipment such as shears, saws and presses
• Drill, anchor and install sheet metal parts according to product specifications

• Perform sheet metal fabrication duties including cutting, bending, and shaping metal materials
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC machines, laser cutting machines, and forklifts
• Assemble and weld sheet metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Proficient in basic math calculations
• Experience working with sheet metal and performing fabrication tasks
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
• Familiarity with tooling and measuring instruments
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent math skills
• 1-4 years of sheet metal experience
