With a passion for people and a commitment to excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking a driven, relationship-focused Skilled Trades Recruiter to support hiring needs in our Mobile, Houston, or Pascagoula locations.
Position Summary
As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified skilled trades professionals for a variety of industrial positions. You’ll play a key role in identifying candidates such as welders, fitters, painters, blasters, electricians, technicians, and general laborers/helpers to meet client needs across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, and interview skilled trades candidates through various sourcing methods (job boards, referrals, social media, and industry events)
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings
Match candidates to client job orders based on qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
Coordinate interviews, onboarding, drug screens, and background checks
Maintain regular communication with candidates and clients throughout the hiring process
Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and project timelines
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, client policies, and safety protocols
Assist in job fairs, hiring events, and local workforce partnerships to attract skilled labor
Qualifications
3+ years of recruiting or staffing experience (skilled trades or industrial staffing preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in using ATS and recruitment software - Bullhorn is a plus
Must be able to work onsite
