Job Overview:

We are seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified candidates for various positions in the skilled trades. Your expertise in recruiting will help us connect talented professionals with the right job opportunities, ultimately contributing to the success of both our workers and our partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients to understand their hiring needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer negotiation
  • Track recruitment metrics and report on hiring progress to management
  • Participate in recruitment events and represent LaborWorx at job fairs and industry gatherings
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and skilled trades

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of experience in recruitment in skilled trades or industrial sectors
  • Strong understanding of the heavy industrial industry and labor market trends
  • Proven track record of working within strong deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients
  • Preferred experience in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
