Why Hover wants you We seek a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to increase awareness and affinity for Hover and elevate our social media presence. You will execute and manage our social media strategy, collaborating with marketing and cross-functional teams to create engaging content. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, home improvement, and visual storytelling, shaping Hover’s interaction with its audience. You will develop expertise in content creation, analytics, and community engagement while contributing to a growing, innovative company. The Marketing Team The Marketing team at Hover is collaborative and dedicated to building brand awareness, engaging customers, and driving growth. We work with design, sales, and support teams to craft compelling narratives and impactful campaigns. We value creativity, adaptability, and data-driven decisions. As a Social Media Manager, you will work directly with our Communications Director, Art Director, creative team, and other partners to ensure a strong, engaging, and consistent social media presence. Your contributions will include Managing our social media calendar across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others. Assisting in executing our social media strategy by brainstorming content ideas aligned with product launches, blogs, and events. Partnering with the creative team to submit and manage creative briefs for timely content delivery. Scheduling and posting content, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling. Managing community interactions by monitoring and responding to messages, comments, and mentions professionally. Growing communities on platforms like Facebook Groups and Reddit, and managing review platforms. Supporting customer advocacy by creating co-marketing kits and managing key customer and partner lists. Handling influencer partnerships, including outreach, content collaboration, and performance tracking. Analyzing social media analytics and providing reports to optimize strategies. Securing permissions for user-generated content and contributing to advocacy efforts. Assisting with video and photography shoots, with potential travel to events. Staying updated on social media trends, delivering industry news digests, and recommending emerging platform strategies. Managing editorial content across social media and blogs, aligning with marketing goals. Supporting PR initiatives alongside the Communications Director. Your background includes 1-3 years of experience in social media management or related roles. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects. Aesthetic sense for visual storytelling. Passion for social media marketing, technology, interior design, and pop culture trends. Expertise in social media best practices, content creation, and community engagement. Experience with management platforms like Sprout Social. Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau is a plus). Fully remote roles are not considered at this time. The US base salary range is $82,000 - $94,000 annually, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
