Two years of experience working in a healthcare setting or in a role closely related to clinical simulation or medical education. At least one year of experience working within a Standardized Patient program preferred. A combination of education, experience, and specialized training that would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in lieu of specific qualifications. Location Conroe, TX Employment Type Full-time Nature & Purpose Of Position Performs highly advanced specialist duties for the Standardized Patient Program and Clinical Skills Training. Primary Responsibilities Performs highly advanced specialist duties for the Standardized Patient Program. Assists with recruitment, schedules, and training of standardized patients; ensures preparedness for clinical scenarios. Handles day-to-day tasks related to standardized patient activities, including coordination of schedules, communication with standardized patients, and maintaining records of participation. Collaborates with the Standardized Patient Coordinator to ensure proper procedures and accurate performance. Participates in high-fidelity simulations, including setup, operation, and breakdown of simulation equipment. Assists faculty and staff in developing and executing realistic simulation scenarios. Maintains simulation environments, equipment, and supplies; ensures alignment with scenario requirements. Serves as liaison among the SP Program, faculty, and students; supports communication regarding schedules and activities. Provides logistics support and troubleshooting during simulation sessions. Collaborates with Clinical Skills Training team to align activities with educational goals. Maintains records of SP participation and feedback; assists in data collection and program improvement. Prepares reports and summaries; monitors SP performance and scenario quality; identifies areas for improvement. Stays updated on best practices and participates in professional development. Assists in preparation and application of moulage to enhance realism; works with faculty to ensure alignment with objectives. Performs other related duties as assigned. Other Specifications Requires work in clinical and educational environments, including simulation labs and classrooms. May involve standing, operating equipment, lifting and moving simulation equipment, and setting up/dismantling environments. Proficiency with simulation technology and audiovisual tools. Experience with moulage preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Flexibility in scheduling; maintain confidentiality. Location & Status This position is located in Conroe, TX. Full-time.
