WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Machine Learning Engineering team builds Viant's proprietary machine learning system that will disrupt the Ad Tech industry. We leverage advanced machine learning techniques to completely transform historically manual and complicated processes of creating, launching, and measuring digital ads into autonomous decision-making systems that efficiently handle hundreds of millions of events daily. We're looking for a highly technical and mission-driven Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build real-time, low-latency machine learning services. This individual will lead a team of machine learning engineers to drive the next phase of growth for Viant. This individual will develop and implement significant and innovative models that are critical to the ongoing success of Viant.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Work cross functionally with engineers and other teams to create and innovate new solutions to achieve autonomous advertising.
• Work building top machine learning and deep learning solutions for areas recommendation, personalization, ranking, search and advertisement.
• Build end to end machine learning models from design to implementation.
• Write production ready and scalable code.
• Work directly with stakeholders and lead more junior members of the team.

GREAT TO HAVE

• Strong experience building and applying machine learning models for business applications.
• Strong experience programming in Python, and using machine learning frameworks TensorFlow.
• Proven ability to implement, operate, and deliver results via innovation at large scale.
• Fantastic problem solver; ability to solve problems that the world has not solved before.
• Experience using deep learning architectures.
• Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple technical and business teams.

COMPENSATION

$130,000 - $180,000 a year

In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
