The Sr. Manager, Logistics & Distribution for Mammotome will have operations responsibility for the Global Distribution Center in Cincinnati, management of the Logistics/Transportation processes, and Tijuana Mexico Import/Export Team. Additionally, this role has direct P&L responsibility for The Blue Ash Distribution Center and Global freight spend. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the supply chain to improve operational efficiencies by evaluating cost structures, new technological implementations, and process optimization.
This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be On-Site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
You will be a part of the Global Supply Chain & Logistics Team and report to the Sr. Director, Global Distribution Logistics responsible for Global Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage warehouse processes at the Global Distribution Center in Cincinnati, including but not limited to: receiving, picking, shipping and material returns processes/repack.
- Be responsible for budgeting annual spends, managing to monthly forecasts, and reporting variances.
- Be responsible for setting and managing KPI's.
- Be responsible for maintaining all Mexico government certifications and health permits.
- Be responsible for maintaining all supplier agreements and relationships with Mexico and USA border brokers.
- Develop annual freight productivity funnel, manages project execution, and develops action plans to meet performance objectives.
- Be responsible for carrier performance management including reporting and reviewing processes to improve quality of service, cost and delivery performance year over year.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 8-10 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement, Planning or Operations
- Proven experience leading and building a diverse, global team
- Proven experience managing site budgets with year-over-year savings
- Extensive knowledge in Import/Export activities, including broker experience
- Extensive knowledge leading day to day activities with a fast-paced Distribution Center
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Progressive experience in freight and transportation, including handling dangerous goods and cold chain shipments across ocean, air, truck and small pack global freight modes strongly preferred.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
This role will be On-Site with 5 expected in office between the Cincinnati Corporate HQ and the Cincinnati Distribution Center.
The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $130-$145k annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
