Position Overview :

The Support Engineer is an entry-level position designed for a professional with less than three years of experience. This role will support various project activities, including technical documentation, system troubleshooting, design reviews, and field activities, working closely with project teams to ensure successful outcomes. The Support Engineer will report to a Branch Manager, Project Manager, or Project Principal and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project meetings, including commissioning and O&M training.

•Review design documents, submittals, engineering reports, and O&M strategies for completeness and accuracy.

•Participate in system and facility assessments, installation reviews, commissioning testing, and contractor demonstration.

•Conduct engineering research, data analysis, code analysis, and cost estimation.

•Develop project-related documents such as test procedures, checklists, and reports.

•Support troubleshooting, problem analysis, and solution development efforts.

•Organize project documentation and ensure timely communication of results.

•Collaborate with EEI team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Requirements

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Desired:
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., LEED AP, AABC, NEBB, TABB, BCxA).
  • Experience with commissioning or related technical fields.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: $80,000 to $99,000 annually, dependent on experience and location.
