IT System Administrator

Precept Wine is the largest privately owned independent wine company in the Northwest. We’re seamlessly integrated to run our own vineyards, wineries and world-class tasting rooms. Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an opening for an Information Technology Systems Administrator in our Seattle office. This position will deal with a range of IT activities that will support and ensure the protection and confidentiality of the company’s data.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and monitoring computer networks and systems including software, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware to ensure appropriate performance
• Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware and/or software issues
• Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
• Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
• Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
• Create, change, archive and delete user accounts per request
• Provide prompt, efficient and accurate technical support including desktop support, workstation deployment, building, monitoring, and maintaining Windows servers, and network appliances

Ideal candidate will have:

• Technical training or degree and 3-5 years in a similar role
• Must have experience with Active Directory, Hyper-V, and Network Management
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified Partner, A+ minimum
• Experience with Watchguard firewall is a plus
• SQL Database experience a plus
• Must have excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills

The applicant must be flexible, professional, highly motivated, and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
