Our Tax Preparers operate as certified individuals that prepare returns and advise clients with the IRS & State taxing authorities. It is their primary responsibility to determine what the most beneficial & ethical outcome for the clients’ returns, then delivering that outcome by preparing the returns with detail and presenting them to our clients. With the help from our team of Tax Prep Admin, it is the Tax Preparer’s responsibility to ensure that the clients’ needs are always reasonably met, which typically include compliance, deadlines, representation, tax advisory, and fiduciary duties.

Responsibilities will primarily include, but may not be limited to:

• Conduct thorough tax return reviews
• Determine the best possible outcome for all assigned clients
• Prepare a variety type of tax returns; Individual, Amended Returns, Business Returns
• Meet corresponding deadlines with the IRS and/or State
• Collaborate and strategize best courses of action with clients and Tax Preparation Admin.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CTEC Certified, Licensed Tax Preparer and is in good standing with the IRS
• CPA’s & EA’s are welcome.
• PTIN & EFIN required
• Associate Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)
• 2+ Years of tax preparation experience
• Effective communication and client relations skills
• Ability to manage a large client base with deadlines, urgency, & prioritization management
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office, Tax Prep Software & CRM experience
