Title: Technical Project Manager — Global Technology Solutions (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Washington, DC area (hybrid Tues & Thurs). Remote considered for exceptional candidates.

Role Summary
Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, global technology projects. You’ll translate strategy into action—drafting charters, building Agile plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful rollouts.
Key Result Areas
Project Planning & Execution: Draft charters, build schedules, allocate resources, track scope / budget / timeline, maintain full project documentation.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Capture requirements, map processes, eliminate bottlenecks, implement standard practices to boost efficiency and reduce cost.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, regular status, risks, and mitigation updates to sponsors, product owners, and teams.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and resolve risks/issues to protect timelines.
Team Leadership: Matrix-manage global, cross-functional teams; foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
Core Responsibilities
Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones; establish Agile governance and change-control processes.
Manage resources — human, financial, material — to keep projects on track.
Facilitate meetings; keep sponsors fully informed of progress and challenges.
Maintain detailed records and monthly budget reports; track milestones against the GTS roadmap.
Required Qualifications
PMI certification (PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP).
7+ years technology project-management experience (10+ years total professional).
Success leading global, matrixed teams and cloud-deployment projects.
Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid); Agile/CSM certification a plus.
Change-management expertise (PROSCI or similar preferred).
Proficiency: Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Visio, MS Office.
Familiarity with IT Operations Management (ITOM).
BA/BS in a related field preferred.
