Job Description
T.R. McTaggart specializes in the creation of apparel for businesses and stores across the country, largely focused on tourism destinations, state and national park retail operations. We have been leaders in the creation of custom manufactured, private label, screen printed and embroidered apparel for nearly 60 years.
We are growing our sales team and looking for a new sales representative to grow existing business and expand into new territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing an existing group of targeted accounts, as well as prospecting for new opportunities. Qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with decision makers and business owners. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to analyze data to identify opportunities for business development. Candidates must be self-directed and have the ability to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and grow T.R. McTaggart’s overall market share in the resort/tourism industry with a concentration on a targeted group of key accounts.
Position T.R. McTaggart’s Private Label apparel line to differentiate the company in the marketplace.
Analyze customer profiles to identify opportunities and areas for growth
Identify key customer needs and business objectives and align them with T.R. McTaggart products and services.
Prepare, plan and deliver targeted and instructive product presentations.
Effectively manage daily communications with customers and internal personnel.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two plus years of outside B2B sales experience
Customer-centric with the desire and ability to develop relationships and solidify business partnerships
Analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Self-motivated
Travel
Daily travel with some overnights.
