Job Summary:

The Training and Development Manager is to support the direction of the Director of Business Process in restructuring the AVW departments to optimize training and efficiency. Departments include but are not limited to Parts, Sales, and Purchasing. The ideal candidate should have experience developing and writing SOPs with strong understanding of operations.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to create, implement, and monitor adherence to SOPs
  • Conduct trainings in person, virtually or recorded
  • Create content for courses in AVW Academy
  • Responsible for helping create department infrastructure
  • Communicate process changes or trainings across departments
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose training solutions
  • Assist managers in identifying training opportunities for their teams
  • Support managers by helping develop custom trainings for their department's needs
  • Create performance improvement plans
  • Help departments create metrics and tracking tools
  • Lead special projects
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's in Business or Human Resource Management preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in designing, implementing and ensuring adherence of standard operating procedures
  • 2+ years experience in conducting root cause analysis investigations
  • 2+ years experience training others to new processes or procedural updates
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to produce training content quickly and accurately
