Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Localization Project Manager who will successfully drive localization projects of all shapes and sizes from conception to completion. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end localization process for short and long-form media content, as well as gaming, webcomic, software, and other media projects from clients around the world. Great communication skills and the ability to maintain tight relationships across a broad set of partners and clients are crucial for this position. Experience working with international teams and a track record of excellent customer service are huge pluses as well. You will report directly to your regional US manager.

Through excellent communication, organization, and knowledge of content localization and its associated workflows, you will ensure that projects are optimized, documented, cataloged, and maintained. You will be highly collaborative, have a keen eye for innovation, and be consistently motivated to solve the challenges that come with localizing content on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with clients, linguists, TAD team, Quality Enhancement team, external vendors and other departments
• Working closely with external and internal language service providers to ensure on-time, high-quality translation delivery
• Developing and executing project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control 
• Creating and managing internal versions of localization project plans, and providing project-specific-education to other teams within Glocalize such as TAD and Quality Enhancement 
• Identifying and solving localization issues or disagreements, whether system or product, identifying causes and performing corrective/preventative action
• Leading project communication, issue resolution and performing post-mortems

Basic Qualifications:

• 1~2 years of experience of localization industry
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Solid understanding of consumer expectations in the localization industry.
• Proficiency in CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, Memsource)
• Prior experience managing and leading teams in the marketing or localization space
• Additional language other than English is a plus (French, Spanish and Japanese)
