  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: February 9, 2026 – End: May 11, 2026)\n
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)\n
  • Hours per Week: 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 – $1720\n
  • Patient Age Groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
  • Staffing Ratio: 1:4\n
  • Charting System: EPIC electronic health records\n
  • Orientation: 36 hours\n
  • Flu Vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)\n
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license—compact or Ohio state RN license required at time of submission\n
  • Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS\n
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred\n
  • Preferred: Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I or II experience\n
  • ER observation/holding or MS/tele experience required\n
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)\n
\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Observation Unit\n
  • Manage telemetry, dysrhythmia, PCU/stepdown care, and rapid response team utilization\n
  • Administer IV insulin and heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drips (including titration)\n
  • Perform blood product administration, tracheostomy management, wound care, and wound vac procedures\n
  • Utilize non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)\n
  • Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more\n
  • Float to similar nursing units as needed\n
