• Assignment Type: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse\n
• Start Date: February 9, 2026\n
• End Date: May 11, 2026\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1720\n
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4\n
• Charting System: EPIC\n
• Flu Vaccine: Required (medical exemptions considered)\n

\n\nEmergency Room RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission)\n
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS\n
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred\n
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred\n
• Must provide 2 professional references (at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor; Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference)\n
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing\n
• ER observation/holding or MS/tele experience required\n

\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department Observation Unit\n
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias\n
• Provide PCU/Stepdown level care, including IV insulin and heparin protocols\n
• Manage renal failure and administer/titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips\n
• Administer blood products and manage tracheostomies\n
• Participate in rapid response team interventions\n
• Perform wound care and manage wound vacs\n
• Provide non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)\n
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic health records\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more\n
