• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care\n\t
• Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progression to ensure patient safety\n\t
• Administer medications and assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures\n\t
• Educate and support mothers and families on postpartum and newborn care\n\t
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care\n\t
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards\n

\n Education and Certification Requirements \n\n

\n\t
• Current CA RN License (required)\n\t
• 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience (required)\n\t
• Recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience (required)\n\t
• Current BLS certification (required)\n\t
• Current NRP certification (required)\n\t
• Current STABLE certification (required)\n\t
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – updated every two years (required)\n
