Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Operating Room Staff to provide comprehensive perioperative care across a broad range of specialties. Our team collaborates across disciplines to ensure effective care for complex and diverse surgical needs. Ideal candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics and critical care patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective surgical outcomes.


• Handle a daily case load averaging between 30 to 50 cases.


• Comfortably manage a variety of procedures, including but not limited to:




• General Surgery


• ENT (Adults)


• Orthopedic Procedures (Total Knees, Hips, and Shoulders)


• Plastics (Including Flap Procedures)


• Abdominal and Bowel Resections


• Whipple Procedures


• D&C and Hysterectomies


• Gastric Sleeves


• Podiatry


• Neurological Procedures (Craniotomies and Other Neuro Cases)


• Back Surgeries


• Urology (Cysto and Stent Placements)

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license required (Nursys Verification).


• Completion of Bassett Core Competencies, Unit Exam, and Skills Checklist prior to onboarding.


• Required personal health history documentation, including MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, TB Test, Varicella, and Annual TB Questionnaire.


• Professional requirements include possession of a Driver's License or State ID, and various professional verifications (Education, Employment, Criminal Background Check, etc.).

Contract length: 89 weeks
