Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring recent stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a PCU/Stepdown unit within a hospital setting,
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am,
• Care for adult progressive care patient population,
• Every other holiday coverage required,

Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio or compact state RN license in hand,
• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent PCU/Stepdown experience required,
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is mandatory,
• Negative 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine) required within 12 months of start,
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted,
• One reference from a supervisor in PCU/Stepdown is required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Permanent and per diem candidates must wait 1 year after their previous end date before returning to facility hospitals,
• Fingerprinting and badge pick-up must be completed onsite prior to start date,
• Modules must be completed prior to start and are recorded via Silkroad,
• PAPRs not accepted as an alternative for facial hair unless medical or religious exemption is approved,
• Nicotine-free policy is temporarily waived for nurses,
