PrideStaff is partnering with a facility located in South Fulton, GA looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead. The Lead will be responsible for managing individuals in the warehouse, as well as take direction from upper management.

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $20 /hr
Location: South Fulton, GA - 30336
Experience: 2+ years of prior experience in a lead role

Job details:

• Supervising 1-2 employees and assigning duties
• Monitors team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently
• Report on any issues that arise during the shift to management
• Ensures compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards
• Must be able to perform minor machine maintenance tasks such as loosen/tighten bolts, repair chain, hydraulics, and machine guarding, etc.
• Ensure PM checks are completed
• Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are always in place, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport material to processing areas and to storage areas for shipment
• Understands daily production schedule and corresponds with mgmt. leads, and coworkers accordingly
• Performs visual inspection of product quality
• Monitors equipment and processes, troubleshoots, and repairs or reports problems to management
• Assists with Material Movers (Line drivers) or other forklift operations when necessary
• Follows all SOP’s (standard operating procedures) and communicates with proper personnel as concerns or issues arise
• Keeps equipment and all areas safe, clean, and organized through proper housekeeping
• Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of prior experience in a lead role
• Ability to multitask
• Prior sit-down forklift experience
• Strong math and computer skills
