Job Title: Welding Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welding Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on support in welding, brazing, and assembly operations. This role focuses on improving process efficiency, ensuring weld quality, developing robust joining procedures, and supporting both daily operations and project-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for welding and brazing operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, troubleshoot welding defects, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop and maintain weld procedure specifications (WPS), qualification reports, and work instructions.
• Apply and interpret complex welding specifications per industry standards and customer requirements.
• Lead the development of repeatable joining procedures using technologies such as GTAW, LBW, and Brazing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Train operations personnel and communicate technical details effectively across teams and customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Metallurgical, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in welding engineering or metal product processing.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, specifications, and quality systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
