Duration: 12 Months Contract 

Location: Remote – Dallas, TX 75032 

Salary: $70.00-$85.00/Hourly

Role Description: The AI Engineer must have 6+ years of experience. For this role, you must be an AI Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning plays a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and deploying advanced AI models for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and fine-tune LLMs for chatbot and AI agent applications.

- Build and optimize AI pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and inference.

- Experiment with advanced LLM tools and frameworks such as Ollama, OpenAI, CrewAI, PydanticAI, and LangChain.

- Preprocess and curate high-quality text datasets for training and fine-tuning LLMs.

- Evaluate and benchmark LLM performance using metrics or human evaluation tailored for chatbot and AI agent use cases.

- Integrate LLM solutions into production environments, ensuring low-latency and high-reliability performance.

- Maintain thorough documentation of model architectures, training processes, and deployment workflows.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of LLMs, transformer architectures, fine-tuning techniques, and prompt engineering.

- Proficiency in Python and LLM tools/frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenNMT.

- Experience in data preprocessing and dataset curation for LLM training.

- Hands-on experience with distributed training pipelines for LLMs using tools like Fully Sharded Data Parallel (FSDP) and DeepSpeed.

- Ability to optimize AI models for deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

- Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) for model fine-tuning.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience
