Job Description

The Clinical Meditech Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of clinical applications within our Meditech EHR system. This role involves collaboration with clinical and administrative staff to understand their needs, translate those needs into system requirements, and effectively utilize the Meditech system.

Clinical Meditech Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to end-users for clinical applications
  • Contribute to the lifecycle of applications, from design and development to testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance
  • Configure, modify, and support applications software within a specific area of focus
  • Analyze workflows and business requirements to ensure systems meet organizational needs
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure system integration and resolve any issues
  • Participate in quality testing efforts for projects and system enhancements
  • Develop and deliver user training
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with reporting requirements and development
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the IT team
  • Support the organization's mission, vision, and values
  • Mentor and guide other team members
Clinical Meditech Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Significant experience with information systems, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Extensive experience with Meditech applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with software implementations and application support
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience with report writing or programming is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards is preferred
  • Proficiency with standard office software
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed
