Job Description

Location : Minneapolis, MN (onsite 1-2 days per week)

Job Type : W2 hourly long-term contract

Compensation Range : $35-45/hr

As a Content Writer , you will craft clear, engaging, and informative content that resonates with both internal stakeholders and external audiences. You will play a vital role in marketing, translating complex industry concepts into accessible and compelling messaging.

Your work will enhance the brand’s voice and establish it as a subject matter expert within the construction manufacturing and equipment sector.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality written content for various platforms, including but not limited to articles, infographics, newsletters, social media, emails, video scripts, print, website, and other marketing materials as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the Content team to develop content that meets business objectives and adheres to regulatory compliance standards.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and copywriting guidelines, ensuring ​o​ur voice and tone are consistent throughout. Provide both copywriting and copyediting of content as needed.
• Work with SEO and other marketing teams to optimize content to follow best practices to enhance online visibility and engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, news, and regulations to inform content development and maintain thought leadership.
• Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Three to Five (3-5) years of writing experience preferred​. MUST have proven experience as a content writer​.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ​b​rand concepts and the ability to simplify complex information for a broad audience​ and customers.
• Be highly organized, deadline oriented, and quality focused.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Excellent writing skills, including editing and proofreading, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize information from various sources.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret policy, procedure, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to achieve accurate and precise results with minimal oversight.
