This role is perfect for someone who is eager to lead and enhance the technological trajectory of our company. As CTO, you will be pivotal in steering our technology initiatives and infrastructure to align with our ambitious business goals.

This is a Full-Time position based in our headquarters. The nature of the role and its responsibilities require that the job is not eligible for remote work arrangements. The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite, engaging directly with the leadership team and overseeing the engineering department to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the overall technology direction of the company while being hands-on with current technologies and frameworks.
• Align technology-related decisions with the companys strategic vision and operational priorities.
• Manage and oversee the engineering team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while upholding high standards of quality and performance.
• Facilitate communication between the engineering team and other departments to advocate for effective technology solutions that improve product offerings.
• Develop technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage.
• Help departments use technology profitably while ensuring the technological resources meet the companys short and long-term needs.
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance and impact.
• Guide the company's strategic direction, development, and future growth from a technology perspective.
• Develop and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information.
• Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure as the technology landscape evolves.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a technology-driven environment.
• Extensive experience leading engineering teams, with a track record of implementing successful technological solutions.
• Excellent hands-on technical skills, with a proficient understanding of modern software engineering tools and practices.
• Demonstrated experience in building technology that has been both successful and impactful, ideally within a startup environment.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, business planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Exceptional team management skills, capable of guiding, motivating, and inspiring a high-performing engineering team.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant field. Advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in presenting ideas to key stakeholders and external business partners.
• Ability to envision and deliver software solutions that meet user needs and/or solve business problems.
• Forward-thinking mindset, with an ability to anticipate future technology needs and trends.
• Deep knowledge of system architecture, IT infrastructure, and software development life cycles.
