About the Role:

Job Title: Electrical Project Lead

Job Description :

Seeking an Electrical Project Lead with 15+ years’ experience to lead design review, installation, testing, and turnover of electrical & instrumentation systems. The role partners closely with the EPCM Work Package Owner (WPO) to ensure safe, compliant, and functional delivery across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical scope delivery from design through startup
• Review drawings, P&IDs, specs, SOWs, RFPs, submittals, RFIs, bids, and change requests
• Act as client rep for AE electrical/equipment designs and early infrastructure concepts
• Drive site-wide electrical coordination, routing philosophy, and 3D model/clash reviews
• Support sustainability goals, constructability reviews, and multi-trade coordination
• Oversee subcontractors, progress tracking, quality, safety, and cost/schedule targets
• Conduct system walkdowns, test pack reviews, turnover, shakedown, and startup support
• Resolve technical issues and ensure code compliance (NFPA, NEC, OSHA)

Requirements:

• 15+ years in electrical & instrumentation construction (pharma, industrial, O&G, or manufacturing)
• Strong knowledge of E&I systems, standards, and safety codes
• Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with commissioning and project controls

Preferred:

• Electrical / E&I / Project Management certification
• Commissioning, validation, and startup experience
• Knowledge of automation and control systems

Location: Wilson, NC

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140K – $170K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
