Investigator – Background Screening Operations

Position Type:  Temporary (January–April) with potential for permanent placement

Schedule:  High-volume workload; collaborative team environment

Work Environment:   On-site only (Not a remote position)

SelecSource is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented  Investigator to support background screening operations during peak season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with data, and value strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, research, and accurately input data into internal systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, track, and verify information
• Perform investigative tasks to support background screening processes
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage a high volume of assignments while meeting productivity and deadline expectations
• Collaborate closely with team members and maintain positive working relationships

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong data-entry skills
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in data entry, research, or administrative roles preferred (not required)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain productivity in a high-volume environment
