Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring 1:1 school nurses to work directly with a student in a school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1:1 School Nurse Contract Details:

• $28.50 – $30.50 per hour
• 12-week contracts
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student’s medical diagnosis and care plan
• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans, and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• Contract is for the current school year
• LPN will be matched to student based on the nurse’s medical acuity experience

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania LPN / LVN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
