This is year long contract. Job Title: RN Case Manager, Diabetic Educator Location: Bethel, AK 99559 Duration: 52 Weeks Shift/Schedule: Nights Guaranteed Hours: 40 Worksite Overview Bed Size: 50-149 Job Description: Position Requirements: Required: • Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. • Minimum associate’s degree in nursing required. • BSN or MSN preferred. • New graduates (with relevant license-see below) may be considered. • Two (2) years’ experience in a clinical health setting preferred. • Demonstrated experience collaborating with a variety of disciplines for project completion. • Background in Diabetes Education preferred. • Valid license is good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse. • Must obtain valid CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification within 2 yrs. • Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
