Prestige Golf Cars is hiring a Lot Porter/Attendant for their Murrieta, CA location.

This is a full-time position. 40 hours per week. Working hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Monday through Friday.

$16.50 to $19.00 per hour DOE

Job Summary

The Lot Porter/Attendant is responsible for moving and maintaining the cleanliness of the golf cars, keeps golf cars in sound working condition and helps the transportation manager as requested.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping track of vehicle locations on the lot, cleaning carts, and ensuring a tidy lot.
• Assists with the parking lot as needed to ensure that it is always clean and safe while maintaining an orderly condition.
• Open dealership by opening the gates and moving out golf carts to the front of the building
• Keeps lot neat and orderly, moving carts as directed by the manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Have great organizational skills
• Wash and clean interior and exterior of rental golf carts and service carts
• Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns
• They must do routine maintenance such as replenishing gas, oil, and other fluids and changing batteries
• Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed
• Other duties may be assigned by management as needed

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be willing to learn new skills and complete various duties
• Good communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills are essential
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior experience as a car lot porter
• Experience working with consumers at a vehicle dealership

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift part up to 80 pounds
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold and rain.
