About The Role As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles. What Do We Offer? Selection Process Here is what you can expect with the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) selection process for Mechatronics & Robotics Technicians: (Timeframe: Approximately 30-days) Application submission and review Pre-employment assessment invitation Criteria assessment (5 days to complete) Video interview via HireVue (7 days to record) Notification of next steps Key job responsibilities Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility Track and store department inventory Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation Shift options Various shifts are available, including Front Half Day, Back Half Day, Front Half Night, and Back Half Night, with schedules typically 4 days on, 3 days off. Specific hours are provided in the original description. Qualifications Basic Qualifications

1. years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
2. years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance

2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics 2+ years of safety standards experience 1+ years troubleshooting MHE High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
