EXPERIENCE:
Position Function/Purpose
To improve the appearance of district facilities by repairing and painting them according to instructions.
Major Responsibilities
1. Prepare the surface to be painted
2. Select proper painting supplies and equipment
3. Cares for equipment used on job site.
4. Protect existing facilities as painting is being done
5. Keep paint foreman informed on all projects and work orders stratus
6. Other duties as assigned by Plumbing Foreman or Director of Facility Design
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Certification/Education:
1. The ability to read and write
2. The ability to follow written and oral directions
3. High School education or equivalent
4. Maintain valid Texas Driver's license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
1. The ability to perform duties at unusual heights
2. Ability to distinguish basic colors
3. Repeated bending and climbing
4. Moderate lifting
Minimum Experience:
1. Prior job experience as a painter
