Accord Carton is seeking a skilled and quality-driven Printing Press Operator to join our growing team! In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for the entire printing process, from set up and ink adjustments to running the press and ensuring top-notch printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up printing presses according to job specifications, including loading paper, plates, and inks.
• Operate printing presses efficiently and safely, maintaining consistent production speeds.
• Monitor print quality throughout the run, making adjustments as needed to ensure color accuracy and clarity.
• Perform routine press maintenance and identify potential mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for optimal press operation.
• May be required to train or assist less experienced press operators.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with prepress and finishing departments.

• Experience operating printing press (offset, digital, or specific press type as required).
• Strong understanding of printing principles, including color theory, press mechanics, and paper properties.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot printing problems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting printing specifications and work orders.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to perform the requirements of the job, including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.
