SUMMARY

To source, recruit, and hire candidates that meet job order requirements for existing and new client accounts in Acro’s Commercial Services (Light Industrial/Manufacturing) Division, currently branded as Acro Blue. The role is equally focused on delivering excellent customer service by responding quickly and effectively to client staffing needs, filling orders accurately, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish an action plan for each assigned client job order, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Respond promptly to client staffing requests and ensure orders are filled with qualified candidates.
  • Match and qualify candidates prior to submission, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Utilize appropriate recruitment tools (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.) in a cost-effective manner to locate active and passive qualified candidates.
  • Execute high-volume, fast-paced candidate searches to meet urgent client demands.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of quality candidates to fill anticipated client orders proactively.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with centers of influence (commerce chambers, churches, others) to develop candidate sourcing channels to provide an ongoing stream of talent.
  • Conduct interviews in person and by phone as required.
  • Extend offers of employment and guide candidates through the onboarding process.
  • Accurately document all recruitment and order-fulfillment activities in the appropriate database.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients by maintaining open communication, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction with staffing results.
  • Prioritize tasks in a way that consistently optimizes time usage and improves scorecard results.
  • Meet or exceed established recruiting and order-fill goals/metrics.
  • Act as liaison between account manager/client and candidate to ensure successful placements.
  • Represent Acro at job fairs, trade shows, and professional organizations to attract talent and promote services.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience preferred, ideally in temporary staffing or high-volume environments.
  • Customer service or client-facing experience is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Excellent communication skills: active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to tailor style to various audiences.
  • Ability to respond quickly to client requests and adjust priorities to meet urgent staffing needs.
  • Ability to build relationships with community centers of influence (chambers of commerce, churches, training/vocational schools, ESL programs, and others to build candidate sourcing networks).
  • Track results and provide metrics on recruiting and order fulfillment progress to management.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with applicant tracking systems a plus.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as bill rates, wage rates, commissions, percentages, and other staffing-related costs.
  • Recognize problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to close candidates effectively and minimize “failure to start” incidences.
  • Work with management on staffing, apply feedback, and improve outcomes.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office environment.
  • Noise level is usually low.
