What we are looking for:

JARS is searching for a Web Development and SEO Specialist to manage and enhance our company's digital assets, including websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web presence, focusing on usability, consumers, content, SEO, and overall website performance to drive traffic and sales. This role requires a blend of web development, engineering skills and digital marketing expertise, particularly in SEO and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, troubleshoot, fix, and optimize websites for SEO
• Research targeted keywords to guide digital strategies
• Analyze reports to identify trends, issues, areas for opportunity and create actionable plans to improve KPI's
• Articulately explain technical details of website changes to developers, project managers, and clients
• Provide accurate timelines and level of effort during all project phases

Requirements:

• 3+ years relevant SEO and marketing experience
• Good understanding of search performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• Solid understanding of web technology including integrations, UI/UX, websites, CMS, Analytics, SEO, Front end, and backend technology
• In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
• Excellent HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery) skills
• Experience with email marketing services such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, and Campaign Monitor
• Experience or good familiarity with SEO research tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and AWR
• Ensure website security protocols are in place and perform regular backups.
• Experience or good familiarity with CRMs such as Hubspot, SalesForce, Pardot, and Sugar
• Experience or good familiarity with testing and analytics tools such as VWO, Crazy Egg, HotJar, CallRail, and Mongoose Metrics
• Good experience using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable using text-based code editors such as Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual Studio Code
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Not afraid to work hard, be humble, ask questions, and learn new things!

Education:

• BA/BS degree in any discipline.
• Computer Science/MCA/ Working knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JS, Open Source
• PMP or other Project Management Certification is preferred.
