Steel Welder/Fabricator

Location: La Vista, Nebraska

Pay Range: $22–$27/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM start | 8–10 hour shifts

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. You’ll work hands-on with structural steel, interpreting blueprints and operating fabrication tools to produce high-quality components for commercial and industrial projects.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble metal components using shears, saws, brakes, and welding equipment
• Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes and punch presses
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

• 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

• Experience with structural steel and custom metalwork
• Forklift experience

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
