Position Overview for the Technical Writer:   

• Develop, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including procedural manuals, instructional materials, technical summaries, and user guides for IT systems and processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect to document infrastructure changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Audit and update outdated technical documentation to bring materials up to current standards, addressing any backlogged documentation needs.
• Work with IT teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear, accessible documents for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop templates, style guides, and best practices to standardize documentation across the IT Division.

Required Skills for the Technical Writer:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a large IT or technology-driven environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and technical diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
