Physician Assistant – Independent Dermatology Practice

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Physician Assistant who is excited to practice with a high degree of independence while still having physician support when needed. The right candidate will enjoy taking ownership of patient care, developing their own patient base, and contributing to a collaborative but non-corporate environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate and manage common dermatologic conditions independently.
• Perform cosmetic procedures, including injectables and device-based treatments (13+ platforms available).
• Educate patients on skincare, prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with the physician on complex cases while leading your own patient care.
• Participate in practice development, marketing initiatives, and team mentorship when desired.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with Connecticut licensure (or eligibility).
• PA-C certification and prescriptive authority.
• Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred but not required.
• Comfort with independent practice and strong patient communication skills.
